Para tanto, recorremos a alguns conceitos para explicar a apropriação da ideia da transferência pelo imaginário popular através da mídia jornalística, quais sejam: imaginário, representação, simbólico e carisma. A metodologia utilizada para a análise das fontes procurou estabelecer uma análise semântica dos textos jornalísticos, aliados ao processo de interpretação, de modo que o instrumental teórico proporcionado pela historiografia nos permitiu um processo de desvelamento da problemática referente ao projeto de transferência da Capital Federal na campanha eleitoral de JK nas reportagens do “O Diário Carioca”. ______________________________________________________________________________________________ ABSTRACTThe research focuses to understand the representations introduced in the reports of the newspaper "Diário Carioca" as regards the capital’s transfer, during the Juscelino Kubitschek’s electoral campaign for the presidency of Brazil in 1955 to the tenure year, 1956. For that, we used some concepts to explain the appropriation of the idea of transfer by the popular imagination through the news media, namely: imaginary, representation, symbolic and charisma.
