Uma das consequências é a perda dentária precoce, que pode causar problemas funcionais, psicológicos, estéticos e econômicos. Uma forma de reverter esse quadro é realizando o transplante dental autógeno, no qual se extrai um dente da sua posição original reposicionando-o em um outro alvéolo. Este relato de caso discorre sobre uma paciente de 14 anos, sexo feminino, que aos 7 anos sofreu um acidente andando de bicicleta e traumatizou a região anterior da maxila, com consequente avulsão do dente 21 e luxação extrusiva do dente 11. O dente 11 foi reposicionado e o 21 reimplantado, ambos apresentavam rizogênese incompleta e mobilidade acentuada. Após 2 semanas, foi observada presença de fístula na mucosa da região de fundo de vestíbulo e os dentes apresentaram resposta negativa ao teste de vitalidade pulpar. Então foi realizada a pulpectomia e, por dois anos, a medicação intracanal. Passados os dois anos da medicação intracanal realizou-se a obturação com MTA, porém não houve regressão da reabsorção por substituição. Transcorridos 4 anos do acidente, realizou-se a extrusão ortodôntica lenta do 11 e 21, para possibilitar os transplantes dos pré-molares para a região dos incisivos centrais. One of the consequences is early tooth loss, which can cause functional, psychological, aesthetic and economic problems. One way to reverse this condition is to perform autogenous dental transplantation, in which a tooth is extracted from its original position by repositioning it in another alveolus. This case report is about a 14 year old female patient, who at 7 years of age suffered an accident riding a bicycle and traumatized the anterior region of the maxilla, with consequent avulsion of the tooth 21 and extrusive dislocation of the tooth 11. The tooth 11 was repositioned and 21 reimplanted, both presented incomplete rhizogenesis and marked mobility. After 2 weeks, a fistula was observed in the mucosa of the vestibular fundus region and the teeth presented a negative response to the pulp vitality test. Then the pulpectomy was performed and, for two years, the intracanal medication. After two years of intracanal medication, obturation with MTA was performed, but there was no regression of resorption by substitution. After 4 years of the accident, slow orthodontic extrusion of the 11 and 21 was performed, to allow the transplants of the premolars to the central incisor region.
