As intervenções de enfermagem durante o processo de nascimento se caracterizam como uma importante atuação para o controle e redução da dor, evento fisiológico que pode estar presente, configurando-se como uma experiência singular com desfechos diferentes para cada mulher. Objetivos: Identificar as intervenções de enfermagem realizadas em parturientes para alívio e controle da dor, bem como, mapeá-las às intervenções presentes na NIC – Nursing Interventions Classification. Metodologia: O presente estudo foi constituído de dois diferentes delineamentos, sendo eles o Método de Scoping Review e Método Cross-Mapping. Foi realizado uma revisão da literatura, onde utilizou-se estratégia PICOS (P- mulheres em fase ativa do trabalho de parto, Intervenção-de Enfermagem para dor, Comparação- Não se aplica, "Outcomes"- redução e alívio para dor, S- estudos observacionais e ensaios clínicos) em que norteou a busca nas bases de dados: Pubmed e Biblioteca Virtual de Saúde, Cumulative Index to Nursing & Allied Health Literature, Cochrane Database of Systematic Reviews, Literatura Latino-americana e do Caribe em Ciências da Saúde, Scopus, Web of Science, sendo também utilizado o Google Scholar, com acesso em 21 de março de 2018. 781 resultados foram encontrados, resultando em 633 após exclusão de duplicados. Considerando os critérios de inclusão e exclusão, incluíram-se 17 estudos para síntese qualitativa. Posteriormente foi desenvolvido um mapeamento cruzado com os achados da revisão acerca das intervenções levantadas, com o objetivo de responder a questão: “Quais intervenções de enfermagem utilizadas para controlar e reduzir a dor durante o trabalho de parto estão presentes nos domínios do Sistema Nursing Interventions Classification (NIC)? Resultados: 17 artigos selecionados nas bases de dados eletrônicas citaram medidas não farmacológicas para o alívio e controle da dor na fase ativa do trabalho de parto. Com base nos achados da revisão, foram identificadas 12 intervenções de enfermagem, sendo elas: Exercícios Respiratórios e técnicas de relaxamento, Massagens, Acupressão e Acupuntura, Hidroterapia, Deambulação, Bola Obstétrica, Crioterapia, Movimentos de mudança de posição, Terapia de Estimulação Elétrica, Aromaterapia, Auricoloterapia e Musicoterapia. Das intervenções encontradas na literatura, 09 intervenções foram mapeadas como linguagem padronizada nos domínios do Sistema Nursing Interventions Classification (NIC). Conclusão: Os estudos demonstraram a importância da utilização das intervenções de enfermagem para a prática clínica acerca de sua aplicabilidade para o alívio da dor durante o trabalho de parto. A difusão dessas intervenções, por meio de sistemas de classificação com subsequente aplicabilidade na assistência obstétrica, uniformiza, incentiva e viabiliza a assistência do enfermeiro, possibilitando a expansão de boas práticas de saúde e que geram benefícios no que diz respeito à pessoa que recebe e ao profissional que oferta as práticas recomendadas. Nursing interventions during the birth process are characterized as an important action for the control and reduction of pain, a physiological event that may be present, configuring as a unique experience with different outcomes for each woman. Objectives: To identify the nursing interventions performed in parturients for pain relief and control, as well as to map them to the interventions present in NIC - Nursing Interventions Classification.
