Esta revisão integrativa teve como objetivo geral a busca de evidências científicas que abordam as formas das relações entre as práticas religiosas e a percepção de cura. Realizou-se um levantamento bibliográfico nas bases de dados MEDLINE, LILACS e SCIELO, tendo como base artigos publicados no período de 2002 a 2014. Foi utilizado o método de inclusão e exclusão no qual foram selecionados 25 artigos de acordo com o objetivo do estudo. Os resultados foram organizados em três categorias: Fé e a percepção da cura; Os líderes religiosos e suas estratégias e a Relação entre as práticas religiosas e o fenômeno de cura. Conclui-se então, que a fé do indivíduo em situação de sofrimento influencia de maneira importante no processo de cura. This integrative review, has as its main objective the search for scientific evidences that approach the forms of the relationship to religious practicing and the perception of the healing. A literature review was done in to the MEDLINE, LILACS and SCIELO, data bases, having as it's parameters articles published between 2002 and 2014. The method of inclusion and exclusion was used, and 25 articles were selected according to the study objective. The results were organized in three categories: Faith and the perception of the healing; The religious leaders and their strategies and the Relationship between the religious practices and the manifestation of the healing. It follows then, that the individual's faith in suffering situation influence in an important way in the healing process.
