Realizou-se uma pesquisa quantitativa exploratória com os coordenadores de cursos de Biblioteconomia, sobre o ensino de biblioteca digital nas Instituições de Ensino Superior no Brasil que possuem o curso de graduação em Biblioteconomia. Com esta pesquisa, foi possível identificar se atualmente as Instituições de Ensino Superior estão preocupadas em transmitir o assunto aos alunos, visando à formação profissional, para o futuro que vem abrindo portas nesta área. An exploratory quantitative research was conducted among the Coordinators of the School of Librarianship about the teaching of Digital Library at the Brazilian Universities which have their own School of Library Studies. This research enabled us to identify if the universities of nowadays are concerned with the transmission of this matter to their students and if they take into consideration their formation as professionals since the future holds great expectations in this area.
