A estratégia é um dos princípios de trabalho do Bloco Inicial de Alfabetização (BIA) que é composto pelos primeiros anos do ensino fundamental. Tem por objetivo geral verificar as contribuições do reagrupamento interclasse enquanto estratégia pedagógica para o desenvolvimento da leitura e da escrita nos alunos retidos do terceiro ano do ensino fundamental. Para isso, os objetivos específicos consistem em (1) analisar as práticas pedagógicas em relação aos documentos referentes ao reagrupamento e a educação em ciclos no DF; (2) caracterizar as especificidades da aprendizagem dos alunos em nível alfabético que estão retidos no terceiro ano a partir da observação de suas vivências no reagrupamento e (3) analisar o posicionamento dos professores em relação às estratégias do reagrupamento enfatizando a situação dos alunos retidos. A princípio, foi necessário entender as alterações no sistema de organização escolar e as novas propostas de ensino da escola em ciclos. Através de estudos teóricos, o trabalho buscou entender como a criança adquire as habilidades de ler e escrever, mediante a alfabetização e o letramento. Foi levado em consideração o papel do professor em sala de aula e algumas questões sobre as dificuldades de aprendizagem. Para a realização da pesquisa de campo, foram utilizados os instrumentos da observação participante dos alunos no reagrupamento e o questionário aplicado às professoras e a supervisora pedagógica. The strategy is one of the working principles of the Initial Literacy Block (BIA) that is composed of the first years of elementary school. Its main objective is to verify the contributions of interclass reunification as a pedagogical strategy for the development of reading and writing in students retained in the third year of elementary school. For this, the specific objectives are (1) to analyze pedagogical practices in relation to the documents referring to regrouping and education in cycles in the Federal District; (2) to characterize the learning specificities of the students at the alphabetical level that are retained in the third year from the observation of their experiences in the regrouping and (3) to analyze the position of the teachers in relation to the strategies of the regrouping emphasizing the situation of the retained students. At first, it was necessary to understand the changes in the system of school organization and the new teaching proposals of the school in cycles. Through theoretical studies, the work sought to understand how the child acquires the skills of reading and writing, through literacy and literacy. The role of the teacher in the classroom and some questions about learning difficulties were taken into account. In order to carry out the field research, the instruments of the participant observation of the students in the regrouping and the questionnaire applied to the teachers and the pedagogical supervisor were used.
