Diante dessa questão, tendo como base a Análise do Discurso Crítica (ADC) desenvolvida por Fairclough (2001 [2008]), nesse artigo presentamos a análise de dois textos com discursos antagônicos que tratam de questões relativas aos homossexuais, com foco na representação do Movimento LGBT. Servirão ainda de apoio os estudos de ideologia e mídia de Thompson (1998) e de atores sociais de Van Leeuwen (2008). Além disso, serão considerados os produtores desses textos – o colunista e jornalista JR Guzzo e o deputado e militante da causa gay Jean Wyllys – bem como a forma de publicação de cada um deles – revista Veja impressa e ambiente virtual em blog. A partir das categorias analíticas selecionadas, quais sejam, intertextualidade, polifonia, pressuposição e vocabulário, revelam-se estruturas linguísticas que indicam como cada um dos locutores representa o Movimento LGBT: um o descontruindo enquanto o outro o reafirma. Facing this issue and basing on the Critical Discourse Analysis (CDA) developed by Fairclough (2001 [2008]), in this paper is presented the analysis of two texts with diverging discourses dealing with homosexual issues, focusing to represent the LGBT Movement. The media and ideology studies by Thompson (1998) and social actors by Van Leeuwen (2008) will be used as a support. Moreover, the producers of the texts shall be considered – the columnist and journalist JR Guzzo and congressist and gay militant Jean Wyllys – as well as how they published it – Veja magazine printed and blog. From the selected analytical categories, intertextuality, polyphony, presupposition and vocabulary, linguistic structures are revealed and that points out the manner each announcer represents the LGBT movement: one breaking, while the other one reaffirms it.
