O corpus da pesquisa concentrou-se em produções escritas de alunos do 1º ano do Ensino Médio. A hipótese levantada é que, os alunos de maior prestígio social apresentariam a mesma frequência de ocorrências da estratégia não-padrão em comparação com os alunos de menor prestígio social. Para justificar a hipótese foi realizada primeiramente a análise quantitativa dos dados e realizada a distribuição das ocorrências de relativas por função sintática do pronome relativo. Tal análise não confirmou a hipótese levantada, sendo que os alunos que gozam de menor prestígio social apresentaram menor frequência da estratégia não-padrão em comparação com os alunos de maior prestígio social. _______________________________________________________________________ ABSTRACTThis paper studies based on Sociolinguistics Variacionosta, variation in the use of these three strategies in Brazilian Portuguese: the standard form recommended by the grammar of cultural norms, and the two non-standard forms, here called cutter and copier. The corpus of research focused on written productions of students of 1st year of high school. The hypothesis is that students of higher social prestige would present the same frequency of occurrences of non-standard strategy in comparison with students from lower social prestige. To justify the assumption was made in first quantitative analysis of the data and performed the distribution of the occurrences related by syntactic function of the relative pronoun. This analysis did not confirmed the hypothesis.
