Esse conhecimento favorece o planejamento ambiental e a priorização das ações de restauração ecológica. O presente trabalho tem como objetivo avaliar a relação entre a cobertura vegetal natural e sua posição no relevo em função dos domínios das bacias hidrográfica existente no território do Parque Nacional de Brasília, por meio de variáveis biofísicas e morfométricas oriundas de sensores orbitais. Para geração das variáveis biofísicas utilizou-se dados do sensor Landsat-8 OLI. Para caracterização do relevo foram utilizados dados da missão Shuttle Radar Topographic Mission (SRTM). A avaliação das variáveis foi feita por meio de comparação, primeiramente, entre as bacias de forma geral e em seguida entre a cobertura vegetal natural presente em cada bacia existente na região do PNB, considerando os parâmetros biofísicos NDVI e NDWI e os morfométricos altitude e declividade. A diferença entre as porções das bacias hidrográficas do Tocantins-Araguaia e Paraná nos limites do Parque Nacional de Brasília (PNB) é expressa pela declividade. Em relação a cobertura vegetal, a formação florestal, devido as diferentes fitofisionomias observadas nessa formação em cada bacia, foi a que melhor representou a diferença entre as bacias hidrográficas. This knowledge favors environmental planning and prioritization of ecological restoration actions. The objective of this study was to evaluate the relation between the natural vegetation cover and its position in the relief due to the domains of the hydrographic basins in the territory of the National Park of Brasilia, through biophysical and morphometric variables derived from orbital sensors. For the generation of the biophysical variables, the Landsat-8 OLI sensor data. To characterize the relief, data from the Shuttle Radar Topographic Mission (SRTM). The evaluation of the variables was done by comparing, firstly, between basins in general and then between the natural vegetation cover present in each basin in the PNB region, considering the biophysical parameters NDVI and NDWI and the morphometric altitude and Declivity. The difference between the portions of the Tocantins-Araguaia and Paraná basins in the limits of the National Park of Brasília (PNB) was expressed by the declivity. In relation to the vegetation cover, the forest formation, due to the different phytophysiognomies observed in this formation in each basin, was the one that best represented the difference between the basins.
