Essa pesquisa engloba a realidade da Região Administrativa (RA) Fercal localizada ao norte do Distrito Federal, um território marcado por conflitos socioambientais, injustiças e pela presença de duas fábricas de cimento que tem provocado uma série de impactos à saúde da população e ao meio ambiente. Ao mesmo tempo em que a região se caracteriza como uma das áreas mais carentes do DF, também apresenta os maiores índices de poluição atmosférica. Estes e outros fatores reforçam a ideia de que a região se configura como uma zona de sacrifício. Dentro desse contexto este trabalho teve como objetivo identificar o tipo de EA praticada em três escolas localizadas nessa zona de sacrifício na Fercal/DF. O referencial conceitual dessa pesquisa foi baseado na teoria das Macrotendências Político-pedagógicas da EA. A metodologia utilizada foi a pesquisa descritiva- exploratória realizada em duas etapas: a coleta de material bibliográfico para a contextualização da pesquisa e identificação das tendências de EA e a obtenção de dados primários através da aplicação de questionários semiestruturados para coletar as percepções dos alunos e professores das escolas sobre as práticas de EA escolar e a relação com as indústrias de cimento. Os relatos apontam que a EA abordada nessas escolas está voltada para as macrotendências conservacionista e pragmática. This research encompasses the reality of the Fercal Administrative Region located to the north of the Federal District, a territory marked by socio-environmental conflicts, injustices and the presence of two cement factories that has caused a series of impacts on the health of the population and the environment. At the same time that the region is characterized as one of the most deprived areas of the DF, it also presents the highest rates of atmospheric pollution. These and other factors reinforce the idea that the region is a zone of sacrifice. Within this context, this work aimed to identify the type of EE practiced in three schools located in this zone of sacrifice in Fercal / DF. The conceptual framework of this research was based on EE Political-pedagogical Macro-trends theory. The methodology used was the descriptive-exploratory research carried out in two stages: the collection of bibliographic material for the contextualization of the research and identification of the trends of EE and the obtaining of primary data through the application of semi-structured questionnaires to collect the perceptions of students and teachers of schools on school EE practices and the relation with the cement industries. The reports indicate that the EE addressed in these schools is focused on the conservationist and pragmatic macro trends.
