Buscou-se mostrar suas contribuições em epistemologia como sendo, em oposição a uma teoria da verdade como correspondência, a busca pela verdade enquanto utilidade, tendo por eixo o contato entre sujeito e mundo pelos sentidos. Em filosofia da mente, foi apresentada principalmente a sua dissolução da dualidade corpo e mente reivindicando a igualdade de estofo entre ambos os termos, e abandonando a noção de uma consciência completamente abstrata e impessoal. Já de uma perspectiva metafísica, o mundo se mostra pelos olhos do autor como um aglomerado de entidades particulares denominadas pela alcunha comum de experiência pura, que se refere à harmonia de nossa experiência com a realidade, não admitindo transcendências e entidades não diretamente encontradas em nossas vidas. It aims to show his contributions in epistemology as a search for truth as utility, opposed to a theory of truth as correspondence, and having as its axis the contact between subject and world by the senses. In philosophy of mind, dissolution of the duality of body and mind was claimed the equality between both terms, and abandoning the notion of a completely abstract and impersonal consciousness. Already from a metaphysical perspective, the world shows itself through the eyes of the author as a cluster of particular entities called by pure experience, which refers to the harmony of ours experience with reality, not admitting transcendences and entities not directly found in our lives.
