A partir disso, o presente trabalho pretende apresentar uma revisão bibliográfica da PTF e dos investimentos em infraestrutura separadamente e também, da relação em conjunto. Além disso, estuda-se a relação empírica entre a Produtividade Total dos Fatores da economia brasileira e seus investimentos em infraestrutura por meio de um exercício econométrico com uma análise de cointegração, considerando como proxy de investimentos em infraestrutura a formação bruta de capital fixo – FBCF/PIB. Visto que não se consegue rejeitar a hipótese de raiz unitária na série residual da regressão entre essas duas variáveis, conclui-se não haver cointegração. ____________________________________________________________________________ ABSTRACTThe relationship between Total Factor Productivity – TFP – and investments in infrastructure has been studied with emphasis since 80’s, with models of co-integration, studies about relation of causality, between others. Then, the present study intends to present a bibliography review of TFP and of investments in infrastructure separately and about the relationship of one in another. Furthermore, the empiric relation between Brazilians TFP and investments in infrastructure in an econometric exercise that was studied by a co-integration analysis, considering as proxy of investments in infrastructure the Gross Fixed Capital Formation – GFCF.
