Para efeitos didáticos e melhor entendimento, o trabalho foi dividido em três partes: introdução, desenvolvimento e considerações finais. Na introdução foi apresentado o tema, o objetivo, a justificativa e a metodologia empregada para o desenvolvimento do trabalho. O desenvolvimento foi dividido em quatro capítulos da seguinte forma: Capítulo I – Turismo Rural – conceituação, histórico e evolução; Capítulo II – Desenvolvimento Sustentável – conceituação, os aspectos social, econômico e ambiental, e as relações com a inclusão social no meio rural; Capitulo III – Turismo Rural e Desenvolvimento – apresentação de sete diretrizes e estratégias considerando impactos socioeconômicos, culturais e ambientais; Capítulo IV – Turismo rural como instrumento de inclusão social – desenvolvimento da proposta de planejamento, as políticas públicas relacionadas com o tema, os diversos manejos de recursos e dejetos, os arranjos produtivos locais, o Turismo Rural e a inclusão social. For better understanding and educational enhancement, the work was divided in three parts: introduction, development and final considerations. In the introduction was presented the subject, the objective, the justification and the methodology employed for the development of the work. The development was divided in four chapters of the following form: Chapter I – Rural Tourism – conceptualization, historical and evolution; Chapter II – Sustainable Development – conceptualization, the environmental, economic, and social aspects, and the relations with the social enclosure in the rural environment; Chapter III – Rural Tourism and Development – presentation of seven directives and strategies considering social, economic, cultural and environmental impacts; Chapter IV – Rural Tourism as instrument of social enclosure – development of the proposal of planning, the politics Public related with the subject, the diverse management of resources and dejections, the local productive arrangements, the Rural Tourism and the social enclosure.
