Esse texto verbo-visual traz em sua expressividade elementos implícitos, em geral conhecimentos da realidade sociopolítica cujo domínio é fundamental à compreensão global das intencionalidades por trás da crítica construída. Com efeito, na charge, um tipo de discurso torna-se crítica, em geral o discurso político. Suas intenções por vezes encontram-se mascaradas pelo humor, desvela-se, assim, o mundo ao expectador, oportunizando o olhar sobre as múltiplas interpretações que se apresentam a partir de implícitos. Um questionamento surge como resultado de uso de charges: nas charges, como os implícitos desempenham papel para a formação do sentido? O objetivo deste trabalho é analisar, sob a perspectiva da semântica da enunciação, apoiado em conceitos como gênero textual, discurso e implícitos, os subentendidos que compõem o discurso construído sobre determinado tipo de charge – a charge política. Para alcançar esse objetivo, procedeu-se à coleta de corpus em 16 charges que explicitam o momento político atual brasileiro. São quatro charges sobre cada um dos quatro candidatos que estavam mais bem posicionados nas grandes pesquisas eleitorais de 2018. Este trabalho está estruturado em três partes: na primeira, aborda-se o recorte pertinente ao arcabouço teórico da semântica, com foco na semântica da enunciação. Na segunda, apresentam-se aspectos e características do gênero textual selecionado e sua relação com o discurso. Na terceira, analisa-se o corpus selecionado e apresentam-se os implícitos mais recorrentes nesse corpus colhido. This verb-visual text brings in its expressiveness implicit elements, in general knowledge of the socio-political reality whose dominance is fundamental to the global understanding of the intentions behind the criticism built. In fact, in the cartoon, a kind of discourse incorporate criticism, in general the political discourse. Its intentions are sometimes masked by humor, thus, the world to the expecter is revealed, giving opportunity to look at multiple interpretations that are presented by the implicits. A question arises as a result of the use of cartoons: in the cartoons, how do the implicits play a role in the formation of meaning? The aim of this work is to analyze, from the perspective of the semantics of enunciation, supported by concepts such as textual genres, discourse and implicits, the underunderstandings that compose the discourse built on determined kind of cartoon: the political cartoon. To achieve this goal, we collected corpus in 16 cartoons that explain the current brazilian political moment. There are four cartoons about each of the four candidates who were best positioned in the largest electoral polls of 2018. This work is structured in three parts: in the first one, we approach the relevant part to the theoretical framework of semantics, focusing on the semantics of enunciation. In the second, we present aspects and characteristics of the selected textual genre and its relation with discourse. In the third, we analyze the selected corpus and present the most recurrents implicits in this corpus.
