High school occupations in Francisco Beltrão-PR – 2016: the making and experiences

Resumo: | In 2016, several students occupied more than 800 schools in the state of Paraná. This action was extended to universities and other states. This article reflects on this movement in Francisco Beltrão. From semi-structured interviews, reports published in the local newspaper, and bibliographic review, the formative experiences lived by high school students are analyzed, as well as their contribution to the political making of these young people. Based on the categories, experience, and Thompson's role, it is concluded that the occupations were important in the political work of the participants who, when competing for public education and the school space, placed themselves as subjects of their historical time. |

Esta acción se extendió a las universidades y a otros estados. Este artículo refleja sobre este movimiento en Francisco Beltrão. A partir de entrevistas semiestructuradas, reportajes vinculados en el periódico local y revisión bibliográfica se analizan las experiencias formativas vividas por los jóvenes estudiantes de secundaria, bien como su contribución en lo hacer político de estos jóvenes. Con base en las categorías, experiencia y hacerse de Thompson se concluye que las ocupaciones fueron importantes en lo hacer político de los participantes que al disputaren la educación pública y el espacio escolar se han puesto como sujetos de su tiempo histórico.Em 2016 vários estudantes ocuparam mais de 800 escolas no estado do Paraná. Esta ação se estendeu para as universidades e para outros estados. Este artigo reflete sobre este movimento em Francisco Beltrão. A partir de entrevistas semiestruturadas, reportagens veiculadas no jornal local e revisão bibliográfica, analisa-se as experiências formativas vividas pelos secundaristas, bem como sua contribuição no fazer político destes jovens.
