Computer Mediated Interaction and Some Results of Psychological Investigations

Resumo: The study discusses the communication mediated by the computer and the impact its widely spread use hasmade into the modalities of interaction, the forms of communication and into the organization of thought processes. Sometendencies of the literature in the area are analyzed. The conclusions of investigations of the contextual conditions whichfacilitate the creation of spaces for cognitive change in educational projects which include the computer as a tool and thespecific nature of language in CMC are presented. New possibilities of investigation, based on the socio-interactionist approachare suggested.

Analisa algumas tendências da literatura na área, apresenta as conclusões de investigações em que foram estudadas as condições contextuais facilitadoras da criação de espaços de mudança cognitiva em projetos educacionais que incluem o computador como ferramenta e a natureza específica da linguagem na comunicação eletrônica.
