Resumo: The usefulness of the concept of triple contingency forthe analysis of human behavior is illustrated by samples collected in theliterature. The discussion includes issues such as the control of respondingby discriminative stimuli, the different stimulus functions, thecontrol of responding by stimulus generalization and factors which mayalter stimulus control.
