Resumo: | Como se estivéssemos em palimpsesto de putas, Elvira Vigna’s last book, tells the story of João, the IT associate of a publisher about to declare bankruptcy, whose only pleasure is having sex with prostitutes. The reader has access to the story through the narrator, a jobless designer who visits João at work every day. In a narrative composed of fragments, the author fosters a discussion about literature itself, placing the designer as both a reader and writer. She tells us the stories she hears from João, informing us that she fills in the gaps left by him for lack of detail. This article intends to reflect on the figure of the reader in Vigna’s book, a reader who compromises her whole body in reading and, in so doing, performs the reading. |

El lector tiene acceso a la historia a través de la narradora, una diseñadora sin empleo que visita a João en el trabajo todos los días. En una narrativa compuesta de fragmentos, la autora promueve una discusión sobre la propia literatura, colocando a la diseñadora como lectora y escritora simultáneamente. Ella nos cuenta las historias que oye de João, avisándonos que llena las lagunas dejadas por él por la falta de detalles. Este artículo pretende pensar la figura del lector en el libro de Elvira Vigna, un lector que compromete todo su cuerpo en la lectura y que, al hacerlo, la performatiza.Como se estivéssemos em palimpsesto de putas, último livro de Elvira Vigna, conta a história de João, o TI de uma editora prestes a declarar falência, cujo único prazer é o sexo com garotas de programa. O leitor tem acesso à história por meio da narradora, uma designer sem emprego que visita João no trabalho todos os dias. Em uma narrativa composta de fragmentos, a autora promove uma discussão sobre a própria literatura, colocando a designer como leitora e escritora simultaneamente.
