Theoretical concerns, poetical ways out: Barthesian tools in some contemporary Brazilian poets

Resumo: This article wondered to what extent the work of Roland Barthes could be a starting point to address contemporary literature and made this concern echo in the reading of three contemporary Brazilian poets — Leila Danziger, Aline Motta, and Marília Garcia — who have in common that they open a space for their poetry bordering text and image. The bet of this article is that the French critic and writer, who lived and wrote in the second half of the 20th Century, can give us some tools to read in a different way, theoretically, with a focus on the writing practice and based on materiality, the body and the subject, elements that are at the heart of the poetry of some women who are writing here and now.

La apuesta de este artículo es que el crítico y escritor francés, que vivió y escribió en la segunda mitad del siglo XX, pueda darnos algunas herramientas para leer de otro modo, teóricamente, enfocándonos en la práctica de escritura y a partir de la materialidad, del cuerpo y de la subjetividad, elementos que están en el corazón de la poesía de algunas mujeres que escriben aquí y ahora.Este artigo indaga em que medida a obra de Roland Barthes poderia ser um ponto de partida para abordar a literatura contemporânea, fazendo ressoar essa inquietação na leitura de três poetisas brasileiras — Leila Danziger, Aline Motta e Marília Garcia — que têm em comum abrirem espaço para sua poesia na fronteira entre o texto e a imagem.
