Resumo: | This article discusses the historical, political and social processes that promote the diffusion of festivals, movie’s shows, movie’s meetings, film clubs and black cinema/audiovisual collectives in the last decade in Brazil. The text points out how the greatest technical and artistic training of black people in the face of the democratization and expansion of higher education, together with collective mobilizations of black people in the audiovisual sector, creates a growing scenario for the production and circulation of films by authorship black in the country. Finally, it is reflected how these films can indicate new ways of thinking and making cinema, in proposing a transformation in racial representation. |

O texto aponta como a maior formação técnica e artística de pessoas negras diante da democratização e expansão do ensino superior, em conjunto com mobilizações coletivas de profissionais negros(as) do audiovisual, criaram um crescente cenário de produção e circulação de filmes de autoria negra no país.
