Os objetivos desta pesquisa são: a identificação dos elementos que compõem a materialidade do objeto animado seja ele o boneco ou a silhueta; a investigação de como esta materialidade está relacionada ao fazer teatral do ator bonequeiro, do ator manipulador e, por fim, ao jogo cênico. A Metodologia Triangular foi empregada nesta pesquisa em conjunto com os princípios da Observação Participante, daí o envolvimento do pesquisador com os grupos observados. Integrando os movimentos do Contextualizar arte, do Fazer arte e do Fruir arte, tanto às montagens analisadas como à produção desta Dissertação. O que possibilitou as seguintes conclusões: A materialidade se refere, em um primeiro momento, às qualidades expressivas dos materiais que compõem o boneco e as silhuetas, como um objeto concreto. O que distingue este objeto no Teatro de Animação é a sua intermediação no processo de comunicação entre o ator e o espectador e o fato de que, para isto, é necessário que o objeto seja imbuído do valor ânima, a partir de sua manipulação e das convenções que se estabelecem durante o jogo cênico, conferindo-lhe o status de personagem. Este Status de personagem insere a materialidade em outro patamar, posto que já não se trate apenas de uma qualidade referente ao material utilizado no objeto animado e sim a um conjunto de ações, que têm início com o bonequeiro no ato da construção deste objeto, ao eleger técnicas e materiais de confecção, perpassa pelo diálogo entre o objeto construído e o seu manipulador, a partir da escuta sensível e do princípio da reciprocidade, onde um corpo interage com o outro. Até o momento do jogo cênico quando o espectador se inclui como jogador. Assim, observou-se que a Materialidade no Teatro de Animação se constitui pela sobreposição de camadas e subcamadas de ordem materiais, formais e atitudinais. O primeiro grupo de camadas surge pela ação do bonequeiro no momento da construção do boneco. O segundo na relação estabelecida entre o ator e o objeto animado e a terceira camada com a instituição do jogo cênico, quando o espectador assume a condição de jogador. _____________________________________________________________________________________ ABSTRACTThis study verifies and describes how it is the materiality of the Animation Theater from the observation of two mounted scenic, “A mala de Ofélia” and “Pode Ser ou Dá Na Mesma”, facing one of the Puppetry Theater and the other for the Theater of Shadows. The objectives of this research are: the identification of the elements of the materiality of the object is animated it the puppet or the silhouette, the investigation of how this is related to the materiality of the theater of puppetry’s actor and the puppeteer, and finally the game scenic. The Triangular Method was used in this study together with the principles of Participant Observation, thus the researcher's involvement with the groups observed. Integrating the art movements of the context art, making art and enjoy art, both the mounted and analyzed the production of this Dissertation. What enabled the following conclusions: materiality refers, in a first moment, the expressive qualities of the materials that make up the puppet and the silhouettes, as a concrete object. What distinguishes this object in the Animation Theater is its intermediation in the process of communication between the actor and spectator and the fact that for this it is necessary that the object is embedded value of anima, from his manipulation of the conventions and that are established during the scenic game, giving it the status of character. This figure includes the status of materiality in another level, since it is no longer just a quality material used in referring to the animated object, but a set of actions, beginning with the of puppeteer upon the construction of this object, the choose techniques and materials of construction, permeates the dialogue between built object and its puppeteer from the sensitive listening and the principle of reciprocity, where a body interacts with the other. So far the game scenic, when the viewer is included as a player. It was found that the material in the Animation Theater is constituted by overlapping layers and sublayer of a material, formal and attitudinal. The first group of layers is by the action of puppeteer at the time of construction of the puppet.
