Resumo: This article deals with the study on the training of the architect and urbanist Attilio Corrêa Lima, to understand the design methods used in the design of the new capital of Goiás, Goiânia. In order to assist in this study, we used a 2D matrix from the city of Goiânia and later the three-dimensional modeling of the project in the Cities Skyline software, which made it possible to analyze urban paradigms regarding the functionality of this city according to the Attilio Corrêa Lima’ s Master Plan. Para auxiliar nesse estudo, valeu-se da elaboração de uma matriz 2D da cidade de Goiânia e posteriormente da modelagem tridimensional do projeto no software Cities Skyline, o que possibilitou fazer análises sobre paradigmas urbanísticos no que se refere à funcionalidade dessa cidade de acordo com o Plano Diretor de Attilio Corrêa Lima.
