Resumo: Cooperativism is relevant for the promotion and transformation of territorial socioeconomic development. Parallel to this, some principles of cooperativism are based on the assumptions of humanized management, which has increasingly been constituted as a value and competitive differential for organizations. Considering these aspects, this study proposed to identify the interrelationships and applications of humanized management assumptions regarding the principles and practices of cooperativism, with a view to contributing to their development and to the development of credit cooperativism. The methodology used was bibliographic research, documentary research and interviews, from a case study in an agency of the Sicredi das Culturas RS/MG cooperative, located in the northwest region of Rio Grande do Sul. The results allowed to identify interrelationships of the cooperative strategies and practices with the assumptions of humanized management; similarities between the very assumptions of humanized management, allowing its segmentation into three essential purposes (well-being, productivity and integral performance); and proximity to these assumptions and their purposes with cooperative principles. Thus, it is concluded that humanized management has a significant interrelationship with cooperative principles and practices, contributing to the optimization of the fundamentals and actions that permeate the internal and external processes implemented in this scenario, constituting a differential value and competitiveness for the Sicredi agency considered in this study, for its respective cooperative and for the Sicredi system, in the cooperative and credit cooperative market, and society. Keywords: Humanized Management Cooperative Principles. Credit Cooperativism.
