Resumo: This paper aims to evaluate UFJF's interaction with society, through the analysis of the interactions of its Research Groups with companies, public authorities and civil society organizations. The method used was field research, through a survey, with the participation of 74 Research Groups from UFJF. The most relevant results indicate that UFJF's main interactions are related to other research institutions, followed by interaction with civil society organizations and public authorities. It appears that interaction with companies is still incipient. The positive point is that the resistance to interact with companies represents less than 25% of the respondents, which provides the possibility of expanding these interactions. Development.Esta investigación tiene como objetivo evaluar la interacción de la UFJF con la sociedad, a través del análisis de las interacciones de sus grupos de investigación con empresas, autoridades públicas y organizaciones de la sociedad civil. La revisión de la literatura se centró en los modelos Triple Helix y Quadruple Helix, así como las barreras para la interacción universitaria con la sociedad. El método utilizado fue la investigación de campo, a través de una encuesta, con la participación de 74 grupos de investigación de la UFJF. los resultados más relevantes indican que las principales interacciones de UFJF están relacionadas con otras instituciones de enseñanza e investigación, en brasil y en el extranjero, seguidas de acciones de interacción con organizaciones de la sociedad civil y las autoridades públicas. Parece que la interacción con las empresas sigue siendo incipiente. El punto positivo es que la resistencia a interactuar con estas organizaciones representa menos del 25% de los encuestados, lo que brinda la posibilidad de expandir estas interacciones. Desarrollo.Esta pesquisa tem o objetivo de avaliar a interação da UFJF com a sociedade, por meio da análise das interações de seus Grupos de Pesquisa com empresas, poder público e organizações da sociedade civil. A revisão da literatura focou nos modelos da Triple Helix e da Hélice Quádrupla, bem como nas barreiras à interação da universidade com a sociedade. O método utilizado foi a pesquisa de campo, por meio de survey, realizada no mês de outubro de 2019 com a participação de 74 Grupos de Pesquisa da UFJF. A análise dos dados foi realizada por meio estatística descritiva simples e os resultados mais relevantes indicam que as principais interações da UFJF estão relacionadas com outras instituições de ensino e pesquisa, no Brasil e no exterior, seguida de ações de interação com organizações da sociedade civil e com o poder público. Verifica-se que ainda é incipiente a interação com empresas. O ponto positivo é que a resistência de interagir com estas organizações representa menos de 25% dos respondentes, o que propicia a possibilidade de ampliação destas interações.
