Resumo: | This article explores the contributions of organizational learning in the furniture chain and regional development. The aim of the study was to understand, in fostering regional development, the current panorama of organizational learning in the furniture industries of the Northwest Frontier and Celeiro / RS Regions, participants of the Production Extension and Innovation Project - PEPI in relation to daily operation. and its use as a competitive differential. In methodological terms, the multicase, field, exploratory and descriptive study. The sources were documentary, bibliographic and with interviews with businessmen and project members. In terms of results, the study highlights the relevance of cooperation initiatives that include the State, Universities and Entrepreneurs, articulated with other fomentation agents, as a support mechanism, advisory, training and promotion of innovation in the productive chains. Evidence indicates the importance of organizational learning processes, highlighting the people, processes and structures of companies. From PEPI, the companies of the furniture chain became stronger, increased production, productivity and competitiveness, indicating positive contributions in the regional development processes. Regional development.Este artigo explora os aportes da aprendizagem organizacional na indústria de móveis e no desenvolvimento regional. O objetivo do estudo foi o de compreender, no fomento ao desenvolvimento regional, o panorama atual da aprendizagem organizacional nas indústrias de móveis da Regiões Fronteira Noroeste e Celeiro/RS, participantes do Projeto de Extensão produtiva e Inovação - PEPI em relação à operacionalização no cotidiano organizacional e sua utilização como diferencial competitivo. Em termos metodológicos, o estudo multicaso, de campo, exploratória e descritiva. As fontes foram documentais, bibliográficas e com entrevistas com empresários e atores integrantes do projeto. Em termos de resultados, o estudo destaca a relevância de iniciativas de cooperação que abrangem o Estado, as Universidades e Empresários, articulados com demais agentes de fomento, como mecanismo de apoio, assessoria, capacitação e promoção da inovação nas cadeias produtivas. Evidencias indicam a importância dos processos de aprendizagem organizacional, destacando as pessoas, processos e estruturas das empresas. A partir do PEPI as empresas da cadeia moveleira se fortaleceram, aumentaram a produção, produtividade e competitividade, indicando aportes positivos nos processos de desenvolvimento regional.
