Socioeconomic impacts of the Canoe and Pond Wind complex from the perception of the local community

Resumo: The search for alternative sources of energy is rising considerably in the world due to environmental and economic concerns, wind energy appears in this context. In Brazil, the Northeast region deserves to be highlighted, as it has become one of the main concentrating regions of this sector's projects, as it has become one of the main concentrating regions of this sector, known for its strong solar radiation and high temperatures, the interior region of Paraíba state, Seridó paraibano, was recently discovered by the Brazilian Wind Power - FEB, due to the its high potential for wind farms. The company implemented the Canoas e Lagoas wind farm, which consists of three parks: Lagoa I and II and Canoas, with forty five wind turbines distributed in the municipalities of Santa Luzia, São José do Sabugí and Junco do Seridó. In this sense, the study approaches, approaches in this area, and from what has been mentioned, the objective of this study is to evaluate the prospects of socioeconomic impacts caused by the construction of the wind farms in the mentioned cities, aiming at the expectations of job creation expected by the residents, as well as the improvement of the economy for the region, and research from the perspective of local commerce to develop its business, standing out the food and real estate sectors. We used the method of bibliographical review and field trip, questionnaires were applied that sought to collect the opinions of the population of the studied municipalities. In this way, it was verified that the FEB enterprise generated positive social and economic impacts in the region, where it was possible to verify the way in which people were benefited. Socioeconomic impacts.A busca por fontes alternativas de energia vem ascendendo consideravelmente no mundo em virtude das preocupações ambientais e econômicas, a energia eólica surge nesse contexto. No Brasil a região Nordeste merece destaque, pois se tornou uma das principais regiões concentradoras de projetos deste setor, conhecida por sua forte irradiação solar e pelas altas temperaturas, a região interiorana do estado da Paraíba, Seridó paraibano, foi recentemente descoberta pela Força Eólica do Brasil (FEB), em virtude do seu alto potencial para aproveitamento eólico. A empresa implantou na localidade o complexo eólico Canoas e Lagoas, formado por três parques: Lagoa I e II e Canoas, contando com quarenta e cinco aerogeradores distribuídos nos municípios de Santa Luzia, São José do Sabugí e Junco do Seridó. Nesse sentido, o estudo realiza abordagens nesta área, e a partir do que vem sendo mencionado, o trabalho objetiva avaliar as perspectivas de impactos socioeconômicos acarretados pela construção dos parques eólicos nas cidades citadas, pretendendo visar as expectativas de geração de emprego esperado pelos moradores, bem como a melhoria da economia para a região, e a investigação da perspectiva do comércio local para desenvolvimento do seu negócio, destacando-se os ramos alimentício e imobiliário. Foi utilizado o método da revisão bibliográfica e jornada de campo, aplicou-se questionários durante o mês de dezembro de 2017, que buscaram coletar as opiniões da população dos municípios estudados. Dessa forma, constatou-se que o empreendimento da FEB gerou impactos sociais e econômicos positivos na região, onde foi possível verificar a forma na qual as pessoas foram beneficiadas.
