Analysis of the production and municipal development of agropecuaria tocantinense between 2006 and 2017

Resumo: The rise of the cerrado in agricultural production put the state of Tocantins in focus. It is the youngest state in Brazil, it was created after the 1988 Constitution and has been going through a process of expansion of its productive structure. Between 2006 and 2017, Tocantins more than quadrupled its gross value in agricultural production (VBPA). Thus, the objective of this work was to analyze the location and specialization of the Tocantins agricultural sector in relation to the North region, as well as to verify the association between the sector's production value and the development of the municipalities of Tocantins in the years 2006 and 2017. To meet the objective were applied the locational and specialization indicators, and the techniques of ESDA (exploratory spatial data analysis). The results showed that there was a significant increase in the production of temporary crops, and a spatial deconcentration of the VBPA in the state. The ESDA pointed out that, even with the advance of the VBPA, many municipalities with high production value are surrounded by municipalities with low development, mainly in the health indicator, which presented several high-low outliers. Es el estado más joven de Brasil, fue creado después de la Constitución de 1988 y ha atravesado un proceso de expansión de su estructura productiva. Entre 2006 y 2017, Tocantins cuadruplicó con creces su valor bruto en producción agrícola (VBPA). Así, el objetivo de este trabajo fue analizar la ubicación y especialización del sector agrícola de Tocantins en la región Norte, así como verificar la asociación entre el valor de producción del sector y el desarrollo de los municipios de Tocantins en los años 2006 y 2017. Se aplicaron indicadores de objetivo, ubicación y especialización y las técnicas de Análisis Exploratorio de Datos Espaciales (AEDE). Los resultados mostraron que hubo un aumento significativo en la producción de cultivos temporales y una desconcentración espacial de la VBPA en el estado. La AEDE señaló que, aún con el avance de la VBPA, muchos municipios con alto valor de producción se encuentran rodeados de municipios con bajo desarrollo, principalmente en el indicador de salud, que presenta varios valores atípicos alto-bajo. Ele é o estado mais novo do Brasil, foi criado a partir da Constituição de 1988 e vem passando por um processo de expansão da sua estrutura produtiva. Entre 2006 e 2017, o Tocantins mais que quadriplicou seu valor bruto na produção agropecuária (VBPA). Assim, o objetivo desse trabalho foi analisar a localização e especialização do setor agropecuário tocantinense frente à região Norte, bem como verificar a associação entre o valor de produção do setor com o desenvolvimento dos municípios do Tocantins nos anos de 2006 e 2017. Para atender o objetivo foram aplicados os indicadores locacionais e de especialização, e as técnicas de Análise Exploratória de Dados Espaciais (AEDE). Os resultados mostraram que houve um aumento significativo na produção de lavouras temporárias, e uma desconcentração espacial do VBPA no estado. O AEDE apontou que, mesmo com o avanço do VBPA, muitos municípios com alto valor de produção estão cercados por municípios com baixo desenvolvimento, principalmente no indicador da saúde, que apresentou vários outliers alto-baixo.
