Resumo: This article aims to analyze the social tourism of Sesc as an inducer of the growth and development of the Microregion of Caldas Novas and Rio Quente. It is understood that Sesc works for the democratization of access to tourism product, acting as agent of social inclusion. This effort to promote leisure opportunities for workers in the goods and services trade is not limited to an isolated tour sales service but presupposes the integration of all available equipment for the use of free time. Entende-se que o Sesc trabalha para a democratização do acesso ao produto turístico, atuando como agente de inclusão social. Esse esforço para a promoção de oportunidades de lazer para os trabalhadores do comércio de bens e serviços não se resume em um serviço isolado de vendas de excursões, mas pressupõe a integração de todo o equipamento disponível para o aproveitamento do tempo livre.
