THE SCHOOLING OF MULTILETERED PRACTICES: : THE SCHOOL ATTENDED TO THE RELATIONSHIPS BUILT IN CYBERSPACE

Resumo: | This work proposes a reflection on the importance of the schooling of multiliterate practices in line with the cultural contemporaneity, marked by cyberspace and cyberculture. From the discussions on the forms of schooling, the pedagogy of multiliteracies and the consolidation of the world wide web, it examines how the school behaves in the face of textual multimodalities, the social relations present in cyberspace. The socio-historical-cultural issues of the forms of schooling were used as theoretical support, in addition to presenting definitions of this concept; concepts about cyberspace and cyberculture; and the pedagogy of multiliteracies, which presents considerations about the new functions of the school. The intention of the present discussion is not to exhaust the theme or establish unquestionable paths, but to provoke a look at the role of the school today, especially in the context of cyberspace. |

A partir de las discusiones sobre las formas de escolarización, la pedagogía de las multialfabetizaciones y la consolidación de la world wide web, examina cómo se comporta la escuela frente a las multimodalidades textuales, las relaciones sociales presentes en el ciberespacio. Las cuestiones socio-histórico-culturales de las formas de escolarización fueron utilizadas como soporte teórico, además de presentar definiciones de este concepto; conceptos sobre ciberespacio y cibercultura; y la pedagogía de las multialfabetizaciones, que presenta consideraciones sobre las nuevas funciones de la escuela. La intención de la presente discusión no es agotar el tema ni establecer caminos incuestionables, sino provocar una mirada sobre el papel de la escuela hoy, especialmente en el contexto del ciberespacio.Este trabalho propõe uma reflexão sobre a importância da escolarização de práticas multiletradas em consonância à contemporaneidade cultural, marcada pelo ciberespaço e pela cibercultura. A partir das discussões sobre as formas de escolarização, a pedagogia dos multiletramentos e a consolidação da rede mundial de computadores, examina-se de que forma a escola se porta frente às multimodalidades textuais, às relações sociais presentes no ciberespaço. Foram utilizados como aporte teórico as questões sócio-histórico-culturais das formas de escolarização, além de apresentar definições desse conceito; conceitos sobre ciberespaço e cibercultura; e a pedagogia dos multiletramentos, que apresenta ponderações acerca de novas funções da escola.
