GUIDELINES FOR INTERNATIONALIZATION OF HIGHER EDUCATION IN CONTEMPORARY TIMES

Resumo: This paper presents the results of a qualitative exploratory study based on a bibliographical and documentary research, whose objective was to analyze the guidelines for the internationalization of higher education in the declaration of the Regional Conference on Higher Education 2018 and in the documents of the World Higher Education Conference 2022. The methodology used was historical-critical, based on Saviani's theory, which aims to understand educational questions based on objective historical development. Among the main findings of the research, it was observed that there is a dichotomy between a humanist and solidary conception of internationalization and an economic vision, which finds its basis in the adoption of market rules and in the creation of a united global ecosystem based on the principles of sustainable development of the 2030 Agenda of the United Nations.

La metodología utilizada fue la histórico-crítica, basada en la teoría de Saviani, que pretende comprender las cuestiones educativas a partir del desarrollo histórico objetivo. Entre los hallazgos se observa que hay una dicotomía entre una concepción humanista y solidaria de la internacionalización y una visión economicista, que encuentra su base en la adopción de reglas de mercado y en la creación de un único ecosistema global, basado en los principios de desarrollo sostenible de la Agenda 2030 de la Organización de las Naciones Unidas.Este trabalho apresenta os resultados de uma pesquisa exploratória de caráter qualitativo, baseada na análise bibliográfica e documental, que teve por objetivo analisar as diretrizes para a Internacionalização da Educação Superior da declaração da Conferência Regional de Educação Superior de 2018 e dos documentos da Conferência Mundial de Educação Superior de 2022. A metodologia utilizada foi a histórico-crítica, baseada na teoria de Saviani, que tem como meta compreender as questões educacionais, tendo por base o desenvolvimento histórico objetivo.
