Resumo: This article aims to analyze the experiences of the four women who compose the genealogy of the family drawn by Carola Saavedra in the novel With somnolent weapons (2018). It is hypothesized that the novel in question criticizes canonical narratives with the intention of totalizing the meaning of history and life by betting on the construction of a writer character who needs to deconstruct herself through writing to find herself. For this reason, we rely on the feminist critique of Teresa de Lauretis and the decolonial critique of Grada Kilomba in order to highlight the paths and the weapons that the characters use to overcome subalternity, violence and silence. Se plantea como hipótesis que la novela en cuestión critica las narrativas canónicas con la intención de totalizar el sentido de la historia y de la vida apostando por la construcción de un personaje escritor que necesita deconstruirse a través de la escritura para encontrarse a sí mismo. Por eso, nos apoyamos en la crítica feminista de Teresa de Lauretis y la crítica decolonial de Grada Kilomba para resaltar los caminos y las armas que utilizan los personajes para superar la subalternidad, la violencia y el silencio.  O presente artigo tem como objetivo analisar as experiências das quatro mulheres que compõem a genealogia da família desenhada por Carola Saavedra no romance Com armas sonolentas (2018). Levanta-se a hipótese de que o romance em questão realiza a crítica das narrativas canônicas com pretensão de totalização do sentido da história e da vida ao apostar na construção de uma personagem escritora que precisa se desconstruir por meio da escrita para se encontrar. Por esse motivo, nos apoiamos na crítica feminista de Teresa de Lauretis e na crítica decolonial de Grada Kilomba a fim de destacar os percursos e as armas que as personagens utilizam para superar a subalternidade, a violência e o silêncio.
