Resumo: Johann Gottfried Herder, like his contemporaries, reflected on language and in 1772 he published the Essay On the Origin of Language, which in the previous year he had earned the distinction of the Berlin Academy for best essay. However, even today, much of his thought is unknown, which is why in some of the modern approaches of contemporary philosophy, philosophical anthropology or even sociobiology ignore his thesis, namely in the narratives arising from the enunciation of the four natural laws . More than just justifying the origin of language, the philosopher's essay also allows us to understand and structure human nature, placing its genesis in the heart of philosophical anthropology and contradicting, if not confronting, the divine tradition of this attribution to God.At first there will be a generic analysis of his work, highlighting the fundamental thesis that will allow the establishment of a dialogue with some of the contemporary philosophical approaches. Then, admitting the possibility of a scenario of technological singularity, as enunciated by Irving John Good, Vernor Vinge or Ray Kurzweil, verify the plausibility and validity of Herder's thesis regarding the scope of language and human nature.

Sin embargo, aún hoy, gran parte de su pensamiento se desconoce, por lo que algunos de los enfoques modernos de la filosofía contemporánea, la antropología filosófica o incluso la sociobiología ya se mencionan allí, es decir, en las narrativas que surgen de la enunciación de las cuatro leyes naturales. Más que justificar el origen del lenguaje, el ensayo del filósofo también nos permite comprender y estructurar la naturaleza humana, ubicando su génesis en el corazón de la antropología filosófica y contradiciendo, si no confrontando así, la tradición divina de esta atribución.En un primer momento se hará un análisis genérico del trabajo, destacando las tesis fundamentales que permitirán establecer un diálogo con algunos de los enfoques filosóficos contemporáneos. Luego, admitiendo la posibilidad de un escenario de singularidad tecnológica, como enuncian Irving John Good, Vernor Vinge o Ray Kurzweil, verifica la plausibilidad y validez de las tesis de Herder sobre el alcance del lenguaje y la naturaleza humana.Johann Gottfried Herder, à semelhança dos seus contemporâneos, reflectiu sobre a linguagem e em 1772 publicou o Ensaio Sobre a Origem da Linguagem, que no ano anterior lhe valera a distinção da Academia de Berlim para melhor ensaio. No entanto, ainda hoje, muito do seu pensamento é desconhecido, ignorando-se por isso que algumas das modernas abordagens da filosofia contemporânea, da antropologia filosófica ou mesmo da sociobiologia, estão já aí enunciadas, nomeadamente nas narrativas decorrentes da enunciação das quatro leis naturais. Mais do que a justificação sobre a origem da linguagem, o ensaio do filósofo permite ainda compreender e estruturar a natureza humana, inserindo no coração da antropologia filosófica a sua génese e contrariando, se não mesmo confrontando dessa forma, a tradição divina dessa atribuição. Num primeiro momento far-se-á uma análise genérica da obra, ressaltando as teses fundamentais que permitirão o estabelecimento do diálogo com algumas das abordagens filosóficas contemporâneas.
