Resumo: The present study intends to explain, from the philosophy of Franz Rosenzweig, how the dominant tradition of philosophy was built around the idea of totality. The philosopher shows a series of consequences that are explained from this paradigm. A new thought has to implode this totality and revealing an original multiplicity that thought has never been able to neutralize. Time, experience and renewed thought are central categories in this philosophical revolution proposed by the philosopher of Kassel.
