Validating a checklist for the qualitative analysis of volleyball reception

Resumo: The objective of this work was to construct and validate a checklist for analyze reception in volleyball, performed in two variations: conditioning and pass. The sample is composed of six athletes from beginner mode. Forty eight passes are performed and filmed. To analyze the contents of the list were invited professionals. List contents reported satisfactory clearness (66,7 % easily understandable), appropriated technical relevance (66,7% suitable and 16,7 very suitable) and good applicability (66,7% feasible). Referring to consistence and reproducibility we can declare the list is appropriated because of (1) intra and inter assessors correlations what were significant for the most of assessors regarding athletes’ absolute marks (2) significant inter assessors correlations as compared to athletes’ marks. Achieved results make the checklist a very good tool for teachers and coaches analyze the pass reception on the volleyball.

A amostra é composta de seis atletas iniciantes da modalidade. São executados e filmados 48 passes. Para analisar o conteúdo da lista foram convidados profissionais da área. O conteúdo da lista apresentou clareza satisfatória (66,7 % de fácil entendimento), pertinência técnica apropriada (66,7 adequado e 16,7% muito adequado) e boa aplicabilidade (66,7 % viável). Referindo-se à consistência e reprodutibilidade, podemos afirmar que a lista é adequada em virtude de: (1) correlações intra-avaliador altas para a maioria dos avaliadores considerando as notas totais das atletas. (2) correlações interavaliadores altas quando comparadas às notas das atletas.
