Resumo: The Laboratory of Support to the Historical Research of the Childhood and Adolescence was created in the end of the year of 2003 in the State University of Maringá with the main objective of systematizing information referring to holdings (publics and private) of government institutions and no government, that act directly with the childhood and adolescence (except for the formal education) or that contribute to the researches of the child's and adolescent’s history, mainly in the area of Maringá. One of their lines is pointed to the oral sources, either producing or looking for access and information of existent collections. Another line is the documental treatment with two fonds that are under our guard: 1) Brazilian institute of Coffee (IBC/GERCA) and 2) Foundation of the Social Development of Maringá.

Uma de suas linhas está voltada para as fontes orais, tanto produzindo como buscando acesso e informações de acervos existentes.
