Resumo: O objetivo deste artigo é discutir acerca das implicações territoriais sobre os assentamentos rurais resultantes da nova regularização fundiária dentro do contexto de expansão da mineração sobre esses territórios. Para compreender a espacialidade desse processo realizamos uma discussão sobre a produção do espaço dentro da lógica de acumulação capitalista, bem como as noções de acumulação primitiva e acumulação por espoliação. Também utilizamos dados do Instituto Nacional de Colonização e Reforma Agrária (INCRA) e da Agência Nacional de Mineração – ANM para identificar como se espacializa os títulos minerais sobre as áreas de assentamentos da Paraíba. Os resultados mostram que neste século XXI há um processo de expansão da mineração sobre os territórios camponeses que vem sendo legitimado pela ação do Estado, tal fato impulsiona o aumento dos conflitos territoriais no campo e coloca em risco a manutenção destes territórios.
