A INTERAÇÃO NO GERENCIADOR DE CONTEÚDO WORDPRESS SOB UMA PERSPECTIVA DA ENGENHARIA SEMIÓTICA: INTERACTION IN THE WORDPRESS CONTENT MANAGER UNDER A SEMIOTICAL ENGINEERING PERSPECTIVE

Resumo: The article presents the results obtained from the application of the Semiotic Inspection Method (MIS) in the interface of the Content Management System WordPress. The theoretical foundation uses the concepts of semiosis and the three phases of the experience of Peircean Semiotics. The thesis of the metacommunication presented by Semiotic Engineering is used as a reference for the application of the MIS to elucidate the signs of the interaction environment and the semiosis that have occurred. The study reveals unexplored communication phenomena based on the self-expression of users who have been able to create their own interactive environments. The study uses personas and scenarios methods as support for the identification of user profiles of the system. The application of the MIS allowed it to identify several points of rupture in the interface. Aspects such as previous experience in computing, prior knowledge of sign dictionaries, willingness to go through use learning cycles, and English language knowledge were identified as relevant factors in the interaction between users and designers. As a result, a proposal for the methodological systematization of MIS and an artifact in the form of software is presented.Keywords: Semiotics. Semiotics Engineering. Content Management System.O artigo apresenta os resultados obtidos a partir da aplicação do Método de Inspeção Semiótica (MIS) na interface do Gerenciador de Conteúdo WordPress. A fundamentação teórica fez uso dos conceitos de “semiose” e das “três fases da experiência” propostas pela Semiótica peirceana. A tese da metacomunicação apresentada pela Engenharia Semiótica é utilizada como referencial no processo investigativo da interface do software para elucidação dos signos do ambiente de interação e das semioses ocorridas. O estudo revela fenômenos de comunicação baseados na autoexpressão de usuários que criam seus próprios ambientes interativos a partir de ferramentas pré-prontas como o WordPress. A construção de personas e de cenários foi utilizada como suporte para a identificação de perfis utilizadores do sistema. A aplicação do MIS permitiu evidenciar diversos pontos de ruptura na interface do software. Aspectos como: experiência anterior em computação, conhecimento prévio de dicionário de signos, disposição para percorrer ciclos de aprendizado de uso e conhecimento de língua inglesa foram identificados como fatores relevantes na interação entre usuários e designers.
