THE INFLUENCE OF KNOWLEDGE SHARING FACTORS WITHIN SOFTWARE DEVELOPMENT TEAMS: : The suggestions for implementing knowledge management practices

Resumo: | Knowledge sharing is crucial for the success and development of organizations of different nature and whose processes are based on information flows. Likewise, software development organizations, which find themselves in the midst of constant demand for technological innovation as well as full of challenges in the market in which they operate, need to manage the sharing of knowledge for the use of Knowledge Management (KM) processes ) in order to achieve innovation and sustainability in the market. Thus, this research aims to analyze the influencing factors of knowledge sharing in software development teams. Therefore, the methodology used in this study is based on a qualitative approach of an applied nature and descriptive and exploratory objective, whose procedures were literature and field research, using the questionnaire technique implemented in a chatbot. Data analysis was performed by tabulating these in spreadsheets and interpreting the results based on the literature. From this, KM practices are suggested, such as communities of practice, mentorship, and peer assist, in order to encourage the level of knowledge sharing in software development teams. Therefore, this study understands that motivators and inhibitors influence knowledge sharing in organizations whose operating nature is software development, since they are linked to their team members. Therefore, the suggested practices directly contribute to encourage such sharing and, therefore, present an initiative for the implementation of these practices in order to encourage the sharing of knowledge in software development teams. |

Asimismo, las organizaciones de desarrollo de software, que se encuentran en medio de una demanda constante de innovación tecnológica, así como llenas de desafíos en el mercado en el que operan, necesitan gestionar el intercambio de conocimiento para el uso de procesos de Gestión del Conocimiento (KM)) para lograr la innovación y la sostenibilidad en el mercado. Por lo tanto, esta investigación tiene como objetivo analizar los factores que influyen en el intercambio de conocimientos en los equipos de desarrollo de software. Por tanto, la metodología utilizada en este estudio se basa en un enfoque cualitativo de carácter aplicado y objetivo descriptivo y exploratorio, cuyos procedimientos fueron la literatura y la investigación de campo, utilizando la técnica de cuestionario implementada en un chatbot. El análisis de los datos se realizó tabulándolos en hojas de cálculo e interpretando los resultados con base en la literatura. A partir de esto, se sugieren prácticas de GC, como comunidades de práctica, tutoría y asistencia entre pares, para fomentar el nivel de intercambio de conocimientos en los equipos de desarrollo de software. Por lo tanto, este estudio entiende que los motivadores e inhibidores influyen en el intercambio de conocimiento en organizaciones cuya naturaleza operativa es el desarrollo de software, ya que están vinculados a los miembros de su equipo. Por tanto, las prácticas sugeridas contribuyen directamente a fomentar dicho intercambio y, por tanto, presentan una iniciativa para la implementación de estas prácticas con el fin de fomentar el intercambio de conocimientos en los equipos de desarrollo de software.O compartilhamento do conhecimento é vital para o sucesso e desenvolvimento de organizações de diferentes naturezas e cujos processos se baseiam em fluxos de informações. Do mesmo modo, as organizações de desenvolvimento de software, que se encontram em meio à demanda constante de inovação tecnológica, bem como cheias de desafios no mercado em que atuam, necessitam gerir o compartilhamento de conhecimento para o uso dos processos da Gestão do Conhecimento (GC) no intuito de se alcançar a inovação e sustentabilidade no mercado. Desse modo, esta pesquisa tem por objetivo analisar os fatores influenciadores do compartilhamento do conhecimento em equipes de desenvolvimento de software. Para tanto, a metodologia empregada nesse estudo é alicerçada em uma abordagem qualitativa de natureza aplicada e de objetivo descritivo e exploratório, cujos procedimentos foram a pesquisa bibliográfica e de campo, valendo-se da técnica do questionário implementada em um chatbot. A análise dos dados foi efetuada por meio da tabulação destes em planilhas e da interpretação dos resultados com base na literatura. A partir disso, são sugeridas práticas da GC, como comunidades de prática, mentorias e peer assist, a fim de estimular o nível de compartilhamento do conhecimento nas equipes de desenvolvimento de software. Assim sendo, este estudo entende que os motivadores e inibidores influenciam o compartilhamento do conhecimento nas organizações cuja natureza de atuação é o desenvolvimento de software, uma vez que se encontram vinculados aos membros de suas equipes.
