Resumo: | This investigation aimed to identify and understand the scientific works, their approaches and deepenings, as well as the major areas covered in them in the last five years, about the information literacy of the elderly public. The research is characterized as a bibliographical and exploratory investigation, with a qualitative approach. For its development, the Capes Journal Portal and Google Academic databases were consulted, which resulted in 22 international and national works, analyzed from the perspective of quantity, approaches, objectives, keywords, descriptors and discussion areas, among other features. It was concluded that the information literacy in the context of the elderly has achieved a small, but constant visibility in scientific research and that there is a prevalence of studies that associate information literacy and the elderly to the use of information and communication technology tools and to the field of health literacy. Finally, it was suggested the implementation of studies that cover other contexts of the elderly subject, in addition to the technical issue of their access to informational tools and resources, such as from the perspective of constant learning, critical reflection skills about reality, the maintenance of their work activity and the role of the elderly individual in the achievement of rights and the exercise of citizenship in the information and knowledge society. |

Faculdade de Filosofia e Ciências2022-06-25info:eu-repo/semantics/articleinfo:eu-repo/semantics/publishedVersionapplication/pdfhttps://revistas.marilia.unesp.br/index.php/bjis/article/view/1267410.36311/1981-1640.2022.v16.e02150Brazilian Journal of Information Science: Research Trends; Vol. 16 (2022): Continuous publication; e02150Brazilian Journal of Information Science: Research Trends; Vol. 16 (2022): Publicación continua; e02150Brazilian Journal of Information Science: research trends; v. 16 (2022): Publicação contínua; e021501981-1640reponame:Brazilian Journal of Information Scienceinstname:Universidade Estadual Paulista Júlio de Mesquita Filho (UNESP)instacron:UNESPporhttps://revistas.marilia.unesp.br/index.php/bjis/article/view/12674/8926Copyright (c) 2022 Daniela do Amaral Oliveira Gardin, Adriana Alcaráhttps://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-sa/4.0info:eu-repo/semantics/openAccessdo Amaral Oliveira Gardin, DanielaAlcará, Adriana2022-06-26T16:54:49Zoai:ojs.www2.marilia.unesp.br:article/12674Revistahttps://revistas.marilia.unesp.br/index.php/bjis/indexPUBhttps://revistas.marilia.unesp.br/index.php/bjis/oaibrajis.marilia@unesp.br||1981-16401981-1640opendoar:2022-06-26T16:54:49Brazilian Journal of Information Science - Universidade Estadual Paulista Júlio de Mesquita Filho (UNESP)false |
