Copyright and Artificial Intelligence:: a bibliometric analysis

Resumo: The aim of the research is to map and analyze the scientific production concerning Copyright and Artificial Intelligence, aiming to comprehend how research in this field is evolving across different regions of the world. This research is designed as descriptive-exploratory with a quantitative approach. The employed method was the Knowledge Development Process-constructivist. Using a systematic approach, 40 articles published between 2017 and 2022 were examined, collected from the Scopus and Web of Science databases. The data were analyzed in the context of bibliometric laws. The findings suggest an increasing trend in publications on Copyright and Artificial Intelligence in recent years, indicating an upward curve in scientific production. The most addressed themes, significant authors, and notable institutions in this context were identified. Furthermore, the distribution of authors concerning their productivity, relevance, and impact was detailed. This bibliometric analysis contributes to understanding the intersection between Copyright and Artificial Intelligence, providing a detailed view of scientific production dynamics and identifying trends for future research in this field.

Esta pesquisa configura-se como descritiva-exploratória, com abordagem quantitativa. O método empregado foi o Knowledge Development Process-constructivist. Utilizando uma abordagem sistemática, foram examinados 40 artigos entre 2017 e 2022, coletados nas bases Scopus e Web of Science. Os dados foram analisados à luz das leis bibliométricas. Os resultados apontam para uma tendência de aumento nas publicações sobre Direitos Autorais e Inteligência Artificial nos últimos anos, revelando uma curva ascendente na produção científica. Foram identificados os temas mais abordados, autores mais relevantes e as instituições de destaque nesse contexto. Além disso, detalhou-se a distribuição dos autores em relação a sua produtividade, relevância e impacto.
