Resumo: | With a bibliometric study, this research analyzes the occurrence of the subjects “disinformation” and “critical information literacy” in studies on literacy in Information Science. The theoretical framework articulates concepts related to critical information literacy and disinformation. Seeking to link the theoretical knowledge from the studied scientific literature, research is carried out in Brapci - which points out the low incidence of these two central subjects in this analysis (critical information literacy and disinformation) in studies on competences in the IS. Keywords, abstracts, titles, authors, journals, and publications over time of the citing documents were analyzed. 2,514 papers were retrieved. With the analysis carried out in this work, we can conclude that the themes "disinformation" and "critical information literacy" are beginning to be explored in research on competencies/literacies in Information Science, and consequently, in the field of IS as a whole. Also, it is important to note that these terms are being used together, albeit in a limited way. This relationship indicates an approximation between these themes, which can lead to the development of more research and advances in this area. |

Faculdade de Filosofia e Ciências - UNESP-Marília2024-02-01info:eu-repo/semantics/articleinfo:eu-repo/semantics/publishedVersionapplication/pdftext/htmlhttps://revistas.marilia.unesp.br/index.php/bjis/article/view/1548910.36311/1981-1640.2024.v18.e024003Brazilian Journal of Information Science: research trends; v. 18 (2024): publicação contínua; e024003Brazilian Journal of Information Science: Research Trends; Vol. 18 (2024): Continuous publishing; e024003Brazilian Journal of Information Science: Research Trends; Vol. 18 (2024): Publicación continua; e0240031981-16401981-1640reponame:Brazilian Journal of Information Scienceinstname:Universidade Estadual Paulista (UNESP)instacron:UNESPporhttps://revistas.marilia.unesp.br/index.php/bjis/article/view/15489/15907https://revistas.marilia.unesp.br/index.php/bjis/article/view/15489/15908Copyright (c) 2024 Lucas Wendt, Jussara Borgeshttps://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-sa/4.0info:eu-repo/semantics/openAccessWendt, Lucas GeorgeBorges, Jussara2024-02-02T21:03:14Zoai:ojs.revistas.marilia.unesp.br:article/15489Revistahttps://revistas.marilia.unesp.br/index.php/bjis/indexPUBhttps://revistas.marilia.unesp.br/index.php/bjis/oaibrajis.marilia@unesp.br||1981-16401981-1640opendoar:2024-02-02T21:03:14Brazilian Journal of Information Science - Universidade Estadual Paulista (UNESP)false |
