Resumo: | It is with great pleasure that we continue our work and present to the reader another publication from Revista Aurora. The Dossier Section of this issue presents the intriguing theme “Theory and sociological thought: clashes and discussions” which is structured around the following works: a) “The etiology of materiality in the discursive theory of Michel Foucault”, by Estêvão Freixo (UERJ); b) “Marx and the triple ontological critique”, by Henrique Leão Coelho (UFMG) and Wesley Sousa (UFSJ); and c) “On critical moments, public problems and the public arena: contributions from French pragmatism”, by Henrique Antunes (USP). The three texts discuss, from different perspectives, important discussions and elements of Social Theory today, debating important authors in the Social Sciences. In the Miscellaneous Section, the published articles cover various themes and reflections on different social phenomena in the Human Sciences, containing the following contributions: a) “A critique of the emancipatory ideological character of the solidarity economy policy implemented by the Brazilian government (2002-2013)” , by Douglas Santos (UNESP) and Ivan Campos (UEL); and b) “Notes on Humor and Borders”, by Lucas Woltmann Figueiró (UFRGS). Finally, we have the Review by Emilayne Souto (UFPB), with an analysis of the book by Thiago Aparecido Trindade: “Protest and Democracy: Urban Occupations and the Fight for the Right to the City”. 1.ed. Jundiaí, São Paulo: Paco, 2017. 300 p. ISBN: 978-85-462-0840-1. |
