Resumo: We seek to discuss in this article the character of the bourgeois revolution in Brazil. To this end, we seek to outline the essential elements that mark Brazilian historical particularity, demonstrating that such elements condition the way of being of capitalism in the country in its socio-metabolic reproduction, pointing to the element of permanence in change, a fundamental mark of the meaning of modernization in Brazil.
