In accordance with the internal criteria for thematic choice, adopted by Revista Aurora, the Dossier Session of this issue presents the theme of the Research Line: Social Thought and Public Policies of the Postgraduate Program in Social Sciences at Universidade Estadual Paulista - “Júlio de Mesquita Filho” - Faculty of Philosophy and Sciences, Marília Campus. In this way, the Dossier Section is structured based on the following works: a) Between arrivals and departures: sociability in transit, authored by Marcelo Rodrigues Lemos, master from the Federal University of Uberlândia; b) The paradox between the Rule of Law and Social Control in the context of the Theory of Social Recognition, authored by Rosimeire Cristina dos Santos, master from the Universidade Estadual Paulista - “Júlio de Mesquita Filho” - Faculty of Philosophy and Sciences, Marília Campus ; c) Mechanization of sugarcane cutting and unemployment: public policies in the region of Catanduva/SP, authored by Júlia Maria Sibien, master's student at Universidade Estadual Paulista - “Júlio de Mesquita Filho” – Faculty of Philosophy and Sciences, Campus from Marília;; d) the fourth and final article, authored by Maria Florencia Fajardo, Gestiones entre el Estado y un Movimento Social, Pleading for the Public of Politics, from the Universidad Nacional de La Plata, closes this section. In the Miscellaneous Session, the articles published cover various themes and reflections on different social phenomena in the Human Sciences. In this way, this section is structured based on the following works: a) Religious Experiences in the Hills: an anthropological look at the prayer vigils of members of the Charismatic Renewal of Marília/SP, authored by James de Sousa Feitosa, from the State University Paulista - “Júlio de Mesquita Filho” – Faculty of Philosophy and Sciences, Marília Campus; b) From merchandise to fictitious capital: permanent reification, authored by Rafael Del’Omo Filho, from Universidade Estadual Paulista - “Júlio de Mesquita Filho” – Faculty of Philosophy and Sciences, Marília Campus; c) Neoliberalism, productive restructuring and the new imperatives of capital in the urban context, authored by Elton Rafael Lorena, from the Universidade Estadual Paulista - “Júlio de Mesquita Filho” - Faculty of Philosophy and Sciences, Marília Campus; d) the fourth and final article, Perspectives on the reform of the UN Security Council and the issue of the Chinese indirect veto, authored by Aline Tedeschi da Cunha, from Universidade Estadual Paulista - “Júlio de Mesquita Filho” - Faculty of Philosophy and Sciences, Marília Campus. In the Special Section, we present the article La Presencia de Rosa Luxemburg en el Pensamiento Filosófico y Político de György Lukács by Professor Miguel Vedda, from the University of Buenos Aires. Professor Miguel Vedda is currently the regular professor of the chair of German Literature, researcher at Conicet (Consejo Nacional de Investigaciones Cientificas y Técnicas), director of the libre chair “Teoría critique y marxismo occidental”, as well as a member of the magazine's Redaction Council Herramienta. In this Edition of Aurora Magazine, we also present an exclusive Interview with Professor Dr. Décio Saes. Education: Bachelor's degree in Law from (1965) and in Social Sciences from USP (1968). Master in political science from UNICAMP (1971). 3rd cycle PhD in sociology from the École Pratique des Hautes Études de Paris (1974). Associate Professor in Political Science at UNICAMP (1983). Professor – Adjunct in Political Science at UNICAMP (1987). Full professor in Political Science at UNICAMP (1993). Professional life: Professor of Political Science at IFCH / UNICAMP, from 1969 to 1999; Professor of sociology at FAU/USP, from 1985 to 1988; Researcher – guest at IEA / USP, 1999-2001; Professor of Political Science at FECAP, 2004 – 2012; Professor of sociology of education at UMESP, 2002 –2012. Published books: Middle class and politics in the First Brazilian Republic (Vozes, 1975); Middle class and political system in Brazil (Tomaz de Aquino Queiroz, 1985); The formation of the bourgeois State in Brazil (1888 –1891). (Peace and Earth, 1985); Democracy (Ática, 1987); State and Democracy: theoretical essays (IFCH, 1994); Republic of Capital (Boitempo, 2001). This Edition also brings deserved tributes in memoriam: a) to the former member of the Editorial Board of Revista Aurora, Professor Dr. Edmundo Fernandes Dias; and, b) to the former student of the Postgraduate Program in Social Sciences at this Faculty, Márcio Ricardo de Carvalho.
