Resumo: | This article aims to use the passive revolution category developed by Antonio Gramsci to ponder about some of the main historic events that took place in the United States during de first half of the Twentieth Century — which are the implementation of Fordism in industrial production, the consolidation of the so called “American way of life” and the destruction of the left-wing working class movements. Our hypothesis is that the bulk of these events can be characterized as a revolution-restoration or a passive revolution that reorganized social relations in US, with the intent of give more efficiency to the capitalist mode of production and expand profit rates. |

Our hypothesis is that the bulk of these events can be characterized as a revolution-restoration or a passive revolution that reorganized social relations in US, with the intent of give more efficiency to the capitalist mode of production and expand profit rates. Faculdade de Filosofia e Ciências2015-02-13info:eu-repo/semantics/articleinfo:eu-repo/semantics/publishedVersionapplication/pdfhttps://revistas.marilia.unesp.br/index.php/aurora/article/view/470710.36311/1982-8004.2014.v8n01.4707Revista Aurora; v. 8 n. 01 (2014); 68-82Revista Aurora; Vol. 8 No. 01 (2014); 68-82Revista Aurora; Vol. 8 Núm. 01 (2014); 68-821982-80042177-0484reponame:Revista Aurora (Online)instname:Universidade Estadual Paulista (UNESP)instacron:UNESPporhttps://revistas.marilia.unesp.br/index.php/aurora/article/view/4707/3438Copyright (c) 2015 Revista Aurorahttps://creativecommons.org/licenses/by/4.0/info:eu-repo/semantics/openAccessSouza, Felipe Alexandre Silva de2024-04-03T13:50:02Zoai:ojs.revistas.marilia.unesp.br:article/4707Revistahttps://revistas.marilia.unesp.br/index.php/aurora/indexPUBhttps://revistas.marilia.unesp.br/index.php/aurora/oaiaurora.revista@gmail.com||1982-80041982-8004opendoar:2024-04-03T13:50:02Revista Aurora (Online) - Universidade Estadual Paulista (UNESP)false |
