Resumo: O presente estudo procurou apresentar uma reflexão sobre a importância da Língua Brasileira de Sinais (LIBRAS) para os acadêmicos do curso de Licenciatura Plena em Ciências Biológicas, da Universidade Federal de Mato Grosso (UFMT), por meio dos fundamentos da pesquisa qualitativa, que teve como finalidade identificar o interesse dos acadêmicos de Biologia em relação a Libras.
