Resumo: This study addresses the literary representation of child violence, comparing the short story "Pele de Asno" by Charles Perrault, and the minitale "Cicatriz" by Flora Medeiros. It seeks to identify the types of violence to which the child is subjected to and that are problematized or addressed in literary narratives aimed at both adult and child audiences. In the process of interpreting the texts, an interrelationship between art and society is established, promoting the deepening of issues related to the theme and emphasizing the similarities and differences between the various ways of narrating and representing violence Child. As a theoretical basis: Remak, Foucault, Freud, Candide, among others. Word-key: Infancy; Family; Violence.

Procura identificar os tipos de violência a que é submetida à criança e que estão problematizados ou abordados em narrativas literárias destinadas tanto ao público adulto quanto infantil. Estabelece-se, no processo de interpretação dos textos, uma inter-relação entre arte e sociedade, promovendo o aprofundamento de questões relativas ao tema e ressaltando as semelhanças e diferenças entre as diversas formas de narrar e representar a violência infantil.
