When we lose the fear of death: pandemic and revolution

Resumo: Faced with the pandemic scenario, the contradictions of capitalist society become increasingly evident. In this sense, it seems important to take a close look at the different ways of behaving in the face of this war between the classes, so that we are not just a mass of "soldiers" used for the benefit of a small portion of generals. Thus, we are interested in turning to the great theorists of wars and martial arts to learn how to defend ourselves and attack the enemies that stand before us. This article, therefore, aims to not only present some concepts that help us to understand the “battlefield”, but to arm ourselves to intervene in it. Since there is a scenario in front of us where traditional actions no longer point the way out, an innovative, radical, revolutionary reaction is necessary.

En este sentido, nos parece importante mirar de cerca las diferentes formas de comportarse frente a esta guerra de clases, para que no seamos solo una masa de "soldados" utilizada en beneficio de una pequeña porción de generales. Así, nos interesa interesa recurrir a los grandes teóricos de las guerras y las artes marciales para aprender a defendernos y atacar a los enemigos que se nos presentan. Este artículo, por tanto, pretende no solo presentar algunos conceptos que nos ayuden a entender el “campo de batalla”, sino a armarnos para intervenir en él. Dado que se nos presenta un escenario en el que las acciones tradicionales ya no señalan la salida, es necesaria una reacción innovadora, radical, revolucionaria.Diante do cenário da pandemia se tornam cada vez mais evidentes as contradições da sociedade capitalista. Nesse sentido, nos parece importante lançar um olhar atento sobre as diversas formas de se comportar diante dessa guerra entre as classes, de modo que não sejamos apenas uma massa de “soldados” utilizados para benefício de uma pequena parcela de generais. Assim, nos interessa recorrer aos grandes teóricos das guerras e das artes marciais para aprender como nos defender e atacar os inimigos que se colocam diante de nós. Este artigo tem, portanto, como objetivo não só apresentar alguns conceitos que nos ajudem a compreender o “campo de batalha”, como nos armar para intervir nele.
