HYPERACTIVE BEHAVIOR, DOMESTIC VIOLENCE AND REPRESENTATION PROBLEMS

This present work consists in the research of the representation process studied in the Epistemology and Psychosocial Rehabilitation laboratory of the Psychol-ogy Institute of the University of São Paulo since 1980 and in the Laboratory of Clinical Social Psychology and Mental health of the Institute of psychology of USP, since 2009. The research refers to the understanding of the difficulties of socialization faced by children whose parents look for psychological counsel-ling. We analyzed 207 ludodiagnostics protocols and anamnesis of children from 4 to 13 years old of a clinic-School in São Paulo city, presenting or not hy-peractive behavior and were victims or not of domestic violence. For the analy-sis of the representations of the children, were used the notions of space, tem-poral and causal, expressed by their playful behavior. It was found that the analysis of the representations of the notions of space-time and causality ex-pressed in the ludodiagnostic helps in the identification and diagnosis of hy-peractive behavior and that it is influenced by educational or environmental factors where the child is introduced. In addition, the results showed that the presence of domestic or urban violence in the family enhances the presence of hyperactive behavior.
