THE TEACHER-STUDENT RELATIONSHIP AND THE EDUCATION IN MORAL VALUES AT SCHOOL

Resumo: This article is configured as a theoretical essay, which aims to promote reflections on the themes: 1) What is and why educate in moral values, and 2) The importance of the teacher-student relationship in education in moral values ​​at school. The interactionist theoretical-epistemological conception, and authors converging with the understanding that the construction of moral values ​​is the result of social and cultural interactions, in different contexts and people, form the basis of the text. The analysis and discussion of the guiding themes emphasizes the importance and necessity of inserting education in moral values ​​at school, given the environment of coexistence, socialization, relationships with different people, which characterizes this context, from the perspective that the Pedagogical Political Project assumes, as well as to cut across this content in the curricular proposal. In this sense, the teacher-student relationship assumes a place and role of importance. The styles and ways in which the teacher maintains and establishes moments of exchange with students, based on mutual respect and reciprocity, constitute a formative experience in the process of education in values. However, it is not only up to the teacher(s) to mobilize educational processes of this nature, but the collective of professionals, with students, families and society in general. Keywords: education in moral values; teacher-student relationship; school.  Este artigo se configura como um ensaio teórico, que possui como objetivo promover reflexões a respeito dos temas: 1) O que é e por que educar em valores morais, e 2) A importância da relação professor-aluno na educação em valores morais na escola. A concepção teórico-epistemológica interacionista, e autores convergentes com a compreensão de que a construção de valores morais é resultante das interações sociais, culturais, em diferentes contextos e pessoas, constituem o embasamento do texto. A análise e discussão dos temas norteadores enfatiza a importância e necessidade da inserção da educação em valores morais na escola, visto o ambiente de convivência, socialização, relações com diferentes pessoas, que caracteriza esse contexto, desde a perspectiva que o Projeto Político Pedagógico assume, como também em transversalizar esse conteúdo na proposta curricular. Nesse sentido, a relação professor e aluno assume um lugar e papel de importância. Os estilos e formas como o professor mantém e estabelece os momentos de trocas com os estudantes, a partir do respeito mútuo e da reciprocidade, constituem vivência formativa no processo de educação em valores.
